A History of WAX-O WAX Lint Rollers

WAX-O-WAX, the brand name of W.A.S.C. candy Company was established in 1950 by Frank Vandersloot. Mr. Vandersloot decided to start a candy store in order to sell his own brand of candies rather than distribute the products of other companies. This was very important to him since that was the way he "dabbed" his creativity. He thought that selling his products direct would make him stand out from the other competitors. That was what led him to use the two words" WAX-O-WAX" which meant "candy without wax".
There was a lot of debate and controversy about this use of the word "candy". Candy lovers everywhere were not happy that there was no longer a need to use a waxed stick in their candies. Many even felt it was an attempt to make money at the expense of their customers. There were, however, some very crafty people who enjoyed the thought of eating something without having to use wax.
After several months of hard work and a great deal of trial and error, the "candy without wax" idea was eventually adopted by the company. The W.A.S.C. Candy Company has made a great many achievements over the years. They have also made sure that their lumps and bumps are never as unappealing as they once were.
WAX-O-WAX lipectomy has come and gone, but the fondue-like atmosphere that was its trademark remains. The business is still open and thriving today. You can visit the candy store any time you want to pick up a free gumball or other candy from the counter. That's right, free. And the candy store isn't even in the same building as the candy store anymore.
As with most things, though, the W.A.S.C. Candy Company has improved on the lint rollers they use. The newer lint rollers have a much smoother motion and make for less catching and tearing. It's safe to say the W.A.S.C. has become one of the best known names in the candy industry.
So when you're thinking about keeping lint rollers handy, remember what started it all. The sweet, innocent wakkiest of things. Who knew anything could be so sweet? While the W.A.S.C. may have outgrown their lint rollers, the candy store will always have them.
All you need to know about W.A.S.C. products is that they're used by millions of people nationwide. You can just imagine how big an industry they can develop if they were to make lint products available in grocery stores. Candy will never become a large enough market to make that happen, but a few supermarkets have been doing it recently.
There are no rules against selling lint rollers. In fact, many states (such as Ohio) have regulations against retailers selling lint directly to consumers. They must instead only sell lint and related products through a middleman such as the company that makes the rollers. That way the companies do little to promote themselves and your chances of being cheated by a shady company are pretty low.
