All About Nerves and Tangy Candy
Little, tangy, candy-like characters - little and oddly shaped but always lovably packed with flavor - are delightful little characters with big eyes, big smiles, and big hearts. Nerds Rope makes yummy sweet fun by coating a sweet, chewy exterior with candy-colored stars and stripes. With its sugary sense-bending contrast of chewy and crunchy, Nerds Rope is an irresistibly zany, colorful, texture and flavor combination best defined as an edible party treat. In addition to yummy, it is good for you too.
Nerds Rope's origin story begins in the mid-1980s, when a young married couple moved to Southern California from Kansas. During their honeymoon they had a run-in with a homeless person who gave them a giant bite of a candy called Nerds Rope. It was so delicious and irresistible that after the couple had a chance to taste it, they traded it for some sugar-free gelatin. Although their travels helped them discover that Nerds Rope was manufactured by a company called Ideal Novelty Products Corporation, Nerds Rope quickly became a favorite of candy-lovers across the country.
Nerds Rope has become the number one selling type of candy at online auctions and discount stores. The gummy style of Nerds Rope has made it a very popular promotional item. For a fraction of the price of other similar, Nerds Rope products, gummy Nerds Rope makes a great giveaway item. Whether given as individual pieces or in bags, gummy Nerds Rope make an excellent corporate gift.
Nerds Rope also comes in different packaging, including a variety of fun tins. It can be packaged in traditional tins, like those you would find in the grocery store, or in a unique tin that's more like a jelly jar. You can even get it in fun jar shapes like a penis, bottle, beer mug, etc. That's right, gummy Nerds Rope comes in a beer drinking coke can! If that doesn't get your attention, nothing will!
The packaging of Nerds Rope varies, but the color scheme is generally green. Some packages are designed to look like empty Jell-O jars, while others come with a fun "jelly-style" jar twist - like a jelly jar with a handle and a cute little bow. There are also some fun looking glass jars, or the classic red and black tubs, which will be perfect for the holiday season or just for a fun, unique gift. It really all depends on your preference!
For those of you who do not know Nerds Rope, it is actually a very unique and original line of homemade gummy candy products, and it was created by two guys named Mike and Dave Powers. They wanted to create a fun and creative new line of products for kids that included everything from the traditional gummy candy to a healthy snack. Now, everyone in the family can enjoy delicious Nerds Rope anytime. And since it's so popular, you can find the Nerds Rope in almost any store in the country, including Target and K-Mart. (Yes, it's that cool.)
