Bulk Candy - Low Carb Alternative
Oh! How I love to shop for bulk candy. It is such a great way to get all the sweets that I have always wanted to try. There is something about bulk candy that I just like. And who doesn't enjoy those big bags of candy coated in chocolate?
Ooh la! When you go to the store to pick up a candy bar, you will find that there is a variety of different types of candy you can buy. From milk chocolate to dark chocolate to peanut butter, you will be able to find it all at the candy buffet. If you are shopping for snacks to add to your candy bar, Oh! Gummy worms are another one of my favorites in the bulk candy department. Almonds, cashews, peanuts, and macadamia nuts make a delicious snack that satisfies my sweet tooth without being too much. Macadamia nuts are my favorite candy with peanuts as a topping. The combination of the two makes a delicious snack that everyone will love.
As I was thinking about how to narrow down my choices for candy to add to my favorite candy bar, I suddenly had an idea. Why not have a chocolate dart? This would be fun if there were a variety of different types of chocolate involved. What if I could buy chocolate dares, mini hard candy, and hard candy individually wrapped gummy worms? I knew that I could find some chocolate dares in gummy worms, so that was a possibility. I found that there were a lot of different places where you could buy milk chocolate dares, so I decided to just order some and try them out.
I got the following five-pound bag of low carb candy in a little rubber band, with a red wrapper. The bag looked like it could hold at least one pound of chocolate. I opened up the bag and put a scoop of creamy chocolate into each of the individual bags, and then took each bag of chocolate out of the wrapper. The following day, I called my husband and we tried some of the candy.
I can't tell you what our favorite candy taste like when I have it this way, but it is a very different flavor than the sugar-free candy that I used to enjoy. I definitely think that it tastes better than the sugar free stuff, and you can still have all the favorite candy without having to worry about having too much of a carb count or going overboard with your diet. Bulk candy is the right answer for some people and if you like the low carb, sugar-free alternative, it might be for you as well.
