Enjoying the Amazing WERTHER Original Sweet Shop
In 1980 WERTHER Originals was born as an attempt to re-create the world of the Middle East. The company bought Caramels from the then-owner, Georg Reimer. The new owners made a bold move and decided to make the candy an entirely Arab product - a decision that would affect worldwide sales for years to come.
As the name implies, the WERTHER Original is based on the original recipe. Caramels are a sweet, dark, dense, and polished candy that can be found all over the world. The name "Caramels" is derived from the Arabic word kerbal which means "hard". Because of this hard nature of the product, they are often compared to Nutts. The product's original recipe called for nuts, sugar, cinnamon, and cardamom.
After years of traveling across the Middle East, the original recipe was changed to cardamom and cinnamon. By doing this, caramels gained a reputation for their heavy flavors. These heavy flavors come from the ground seeds which have to be crushed prior to use. The process is long and arduous and takes great efforts. It is worth it though, because the resulting candies are mouthwatering and delicious.
The first lines of WERTHER Original candies were a shade of brown and had a very earthy flavor. The Middle Eastern market is not huge and there were limited amounts of caramels that could be produced. Therefore, keeping the original formula in mind, the manufacturers altered the recipe slightly so that the desired taste could be achieved. In addition, in order to keep up with demand, they took all the designs to the international market.
Today, there are many different varieties of WERTHER Original products ranging from the original chocolate bar to the amazing range of deserts. All the products are beautifully decorated with Arab designs. They are also wrapped in colorful papers adding more style to the candies. These werther Original sweets are manufactured in countries such as Egypt, Israel and Morocco.
You can get a great deal of enjoyment from the delicious WERTHER Original candy bars. You can find them sold in various shops online and at local stores. In case you are looking for shipping options, the best place to look is the internet. A lot of people have loved the taste of these Original sweets. There are even dedicated stores that sell only these items. These stores usually stock up on these every time a new flavor is introduced. In fact, when the stock is gone, it can take some time before another stock is added.
