Harry Potter
Harry Potter is an exciting series of seven original fantasy books written by British author, J. K. Rowling. The books chronicle the adventures of a boy wizard, Harry Potter, who lives with his magical friend, Ron Weasley, in the wizardly world called Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry located at Scotland's Hogwarts Castle. Harry Potter's greatest friend is his owl, Hedwig. This article will give you all the scoop on how Hedwig came to be.
In Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, J.K. Rowling introduces two new characters, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, as they become friends with Harry Potter. They become part of the group of pure-blood wizards called the Order of the Phoenix that protects the world against evil. They are also good friends with another half-blood wizard named Barty Crouch, who is the keeper of keys and a close friend of Harry Potter. Crouch is also a member of the Order of the Phoenix. The three of them become very close friends to Harry Potter during their first year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry where they are along side other students that include Cho Chang, Luna Lovegood, and Hagrid.
In Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Harry Potter returns to Hogwarts castle for the third year in a row as he is required to defend his house from a diabolical wizard named Dark Harry. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets is where Harry Potter learns that he must defeat Lord Voldemort in order to stay in Hogwarts and become a full member of the faculty. During this book, we learn more about the history between Harry Potter and Severus Snape, who are the head of the Hogwarts school of magic at the time.
During the second year of Harry Potter, one of the most interesting battles that takes place is when Harry Potter's enemy, Lord Voldemort, tries to attack Harry in the night, but fails. After failing many times, Harry Potter returns home only to find out that someone had done something to his parents and he is very upset and scared because he knows that he has done something wrong. During this time, a mysterious person tries to kill him, but he manages to escape from the person and return to Hogwarts castle where he is attacked by Lord Voldemort. This begins the third year of Harry Potter's life at Hogwarts.
During the fourth year at Hogwarts, we meet another mysterious wizard, who is obsessed with getting hold of the prophecy of the dead. This man goes by the name of Nagini, and he threatens to destroy Harry Potter and his loved ones unless Harry Potter agrees to fulfill a quest for him. Harry Potter agrees to go along with Nagini, but he soon realizes that he is too dangerous to handle. During the final battle that occurs between the good guy and bad guy, Harry Potter saves the day and gets his best friend, Ron Weasley, to live. It was because of this that many people consider Harry Potter to be a good person, as he did not try to hurt Ron during the battle, and instead helped him out of a really bad situation.
During the fifth year, Professor Dumbledore becomes extremely ill-tempered and has a major confrontation with his Head of House. Afterward, he announces that he has received a letter from the Ministry of Magic that says that there is a possibility that Harry Potter might be illegally defined as a dark wizard. This causes Dumbledore to fly into a rage, and he begins to expel all students that are considered to be members of the dark side. Later on in the sixth year, Hermione Granger comes to realize that she is indirectly responsible for creating the situation in which she is in at the moment. Harry Potter, along with Hermione, finds out that she is innocent and decides to trust her. The next year, Harry Potter graduates and goes on to become the most famous wizard of his time, while Hermione becomes a Unspeakables, a very good witch, but sometimes proves too powerful for even the most powerful wizards.
