Harry Potter Chocolate Frogs
If you love Harry Potter, then you are probably as well suited to making chocolate frogs as they are to being in the books and watching the Harry Potter movies. Chocolate frogs have been around for a long time and people all over the world have enjoyed them. They are also a fun gift idea for birthday parties and just because! There is something really magical about frogs anyway so this is a great addition to any party or theme. It is also fairly easy to make and it will give the kids something nice to look at as well.
The first thing you need to do to make Harry Potter chocolate frogs - is of course, buy a chocolate frog. You can purchase them from a pet store or you can design your own. This is definitely the most fun part of the process as there is a lot of decision involved. You want to make sure you get the right size of chocolate Frog, make sure it is the correct color and then you want to line it up according to the picture on the box. Once that is done, you can then go ahead and wrap it and tie it with a string.
One thing I like about these frogs is that they are rather inexpensive. My daughter's son has received his first from me and now he is planning to buy some more for his friends. He really likes them because they are different than all the other chocolate frogs out there. The ones that you find in the grocery store are usually boring and not very creative. The kids at school have taken to them though and now their teachers give them good points if they have chocolate frogs on them.
Another reason why these are a good choice is because they are pretty easy to make. All you need to do is melt some chocolate and then apply that to the inside of an egg. You can then shape it according to the image on the box and then stick it into the hot chocolate. If you want to make the chocolate a little richer, you can add additional drops of food coloring. It's a great way to get your kids involved in the process as well.
Finally, I love this product because they are good for science. There are quite a few good websites out there that explain how to make them and you can actually teach your kids how to use them as well. The best part about them is that they are not just filled with chocolate for your kids to consume; they are actually pretty useful as well.
As you can see, these Harry Potter chocolate frogs are a great gift idea. You can either purchase them online or in your local market. I recommend buying them when they are on sale because you can save a lot of money. If you do purchase them online, make sure you check them carefully before purchasing so you know exactly what you are buying. Also, make sure you double check the spelling of the words and you know what to do if the item does not arrive on time.
