Hershey's Special Dark Almond Bar
The chocolate is a treat that is loved by people of all ages. People have enjoyed chocolate throughout the history of mankind. There are many different types of chocolate to choose from, including milk chocolate and dark chocolate. Milk chocolate is most commonly used in drinks and sweets, whereas dark chocolate is highly concentrated in flavor and has a higher sugar content than milk chocolate. Dark chocolate is also higher in calories than milk chocolate, but not as much as white chocolate.
Hershey's, a family owned business since 1854, is one of the leading confectionery manufacturers in America. The Hershey Company, also called Hershey's, is primarily an American company and is one of the biggest confectionery manufacturers in the world. It produces baked goods, including cookies and cupcakes, and sells confections such as milkshakes, cakes and cookies, which are made internationally. The chocolate used in their baking is one hundred percent pure, which makes it very expensive, unlike other brands that use anywhere up to seventy percent or even eighty percent of milk. Their specialty items, which include chocolate kisses, angel food cake and chocolate fudge sponge, are only available in certain markets.
The Hershey Company's original chocolate flavor was originally created in Hershey, Pennsylvania, during the eighteen hundreds by David Gellberg, a German named Gabriel Hershey. He began creating chocolate flavor in the late afternoon and continued working until three o'clock in the evening, when he had to leave to go home. Later that night, he presented his creation to his father. His father, not impressed, asked him to make some more so that he could share it with his friends, but Gabriel did not have much success and his father relented and began selling it under his own name.
A Hershey giant bar is a great way to experience the Hershey taste without having to travel to Hershey, Pennsylvania. You can purchase one at your local convenience store, but you will find that these aren't the real thing. They are made from a mixture of various Hershey's confections and are sold at the higher price than the standard bar. These specialty Hershey bars contain a lot less milk, less sugar, less cocoa butter and less vanilla essence than the standard bar. If you enjoy chocolate candy, then you will love these bars.
If you prefer almonds over chocolate candy, you can replace the standard bar 1.45 oz with a Hershey's Special Dark Hazelnut Bar. This bar contains fifty percent less calories than a Hershey's standard bar and is also lower in calories. The Special Dark Hazelnut Bar contains ten grams of almonds and two grams of nuts. It has two tablespoons of unsweetened real whipped cream on top and has been created with the goodness of hazelnuts. This is the perfect snack for those who want a little something different for their dinner.
The next time you're shopping for chocolate candy and would like to add a little something different to your meal, you should try both the Hershey giant bar and the special dark version. It will change your eating habits forever! You may even begin to purchase your own varieties of chocolate candy online. Just be sure to read the labels so you know exactly what is in each product. You don't want to end up buying more chocolate candy than you can afford.
