History of Kit Kat

Kit Kat

The Kit Kat candy bar is among the best selling candy bars. It was launched in the UK in the year 1989 and has since become hugely popular. Kit Kat is basically a plastic wafer candy bar made by Nestle, except in the United States where it's made under licence by the H. M. Revere Candy Company, a subsidiary of the Hershey Company.

Kit Kat is produced by Rowntree's International Ltd., a British company that is known for its quality confections. Kit Kat has an array of candy flavors including strawberry, orange, lemon, watermelon, cream and chocolate, and is coated with a sweetener. Kit Kat was initially manufactured for children in Japan, but it has now become hugely popular in Europe and other countries. In the United States of America Kit Kat has also become hugely popular as the national candy of Montana.

There are two types of Kit Kat bars available: Kit Kat wafers and Kit Kat biscuits. Both the wafers and the biscuits are coated in chocolate, but the former has more added flavor and toppings than the latter. There are various suppliers of Kit Kat in the United States and a large number of stores sell Kit Kat products, both in bricks and mortar establishments and on the internet. The main competitors of Kit Kat in the United States are Kit Kat Biscuit from Nestle and Kit Kat cookies from Mars Incorporated.

To make a Kit Kat wafer, sugar, egg white, vanilla or chocolate are mixed together and then poured into a non-stick pan that has a waffle iron insert. The hot wafer is then baked in an oven at 350 degrees Celsius. The most popular toppings for a Kit Kat bar are cartoon characters such as Snoopy, Garfield, and the toothpaste dog. A standard wafer is approximately half a cup of chocolate wafers. Variations in manufacturing process, such as the thickness of the rim, the thickness of the filling, coating thickness, and the addition of fillings can alter the taste and texture of a Kit Kat candy bar.

In the United Kingdom, the Kit Kat candy bars are sold under the names Wafers and Kit Kat biscuits. In Australia, the brand is marketed under the names Quickie Biscuit and Kit Kat Blast. In many locations, Kit Kat is marketed under its trade name of K-A-S-H and has even acquired its own distinct market niche in the United Kingdom. American Confectionary Company, the largest maker of Kit Kat chocolates in the world, markets them under the names Kit Kat Lattes, Kit Kat Candy Bars, and Kit Kat Flip Flops. As confectionery becomes increasingly popular, the companies that produce Kit Kat candies are also producing different variations of their product.

These bars of confectionery come in various varieties and are produced from a wide variety of ingredients. Popular ingredients include milk, cream, and chocolate. Due to the extensive marketing effort and inroads into the traditional candy bars market, Kit Kat candy bars are considered one of the best selling confectionery items in the world. As confectionery is becoming more popular with people of all ages and is gradually moving from being a treat for children, to an item that is seen in American schools and in Western workplaces, the demand for these products is set to increase.
