Although Slush Puppy is marketed as a low calorie drink, the ingredients list indicates otherwise. It contains large amounts of sugar, which is advertised as a health benefit. However, the drinks are also loaded with high fructose corn syrup, a type of sugar that has no nutritional benefits, but can cause undesirable weight gain.
