Jelly Belly - History & Information About This Confection
Jelly Belly is a quality company that manufactures quality candy. They are known for their jelly dried sweets and candies. The company was founded in 1932 by Herman Goelitz. Jelly Belly specializes in candy that has a special jelly base with a crunchy exterior.
Some of the most popular Jelly Belly candies include Jelly Bellies and Jelly Belly M&M's. These two Jelly Belly products are extremely popular among children. Many parents do purchase Jelly Belly candies for their children in order to avoid them from becoming addicted to pop corn or any other snack. Parents also use Jelly Belly to teach their children proper nutrition habits. They know that by eating candies with a slight crunch, they will have less sugar and fewer calories. This helps in teaching children about nutrition.
A majority of Jelly Belly products are sugar free and do not have any additives. This helps consumers stay away from dangerous chemicals that many companies use to put artificial coloring in their candies. Many people also turn to Jelly Belly for their baby candies as well as everyday products.
The Jelly Belly business is a family owned and operated business and it does not have a factory that makes their products. Instead, all of their products are made in an Orlando, Florida factory. Most of their products are distributed throughout the United States and the World. Jelly Belly distributors can help you find the best prices on their products.
Jelly Belly does have a very strong competitor in the Jelly Belly candy industry. Hershey's is a very successful company that also produces a wide variety of candies. Their competitor focuses on selling candy that is more geared towards children. People tend to like candy that is more geared towards their age group. Jelly Belly is focused on selling to adults as well as children.
This company has been around since 1958 and is one of the oldest manufacturers in the United States. They have been making a quality product that people love. This is why people continue to purchase their Jelly Belly products year after year. They do sell inexpensive Jelly Belly items which are nearly identical to the major brands. If you want something to pamper yourself or your child when they are in bed or bath, Jelly Belly is the name to go with. They make a great product that is healthy and fun at the same time.
