Nerds Rope - Is It A Good Toy?
Daring "nerdy" sweets? Tiny, sugary, crunchy candy-sweet little people are just delicious little characters, small and oddly shaped yet so lovingly packed with flavor. Nerds Rope makes delightful fun with its sugary, gummy twist by coating a sweet, chewy middle with candy-colored characters.
In the colors of the American flag, Nerds Rope sends its sugary, yummy appeal to those who like simple candies. It comes in one-ounce packages. Each bag contains nine pieces. Bags may be personalized with the recipient's name or an expression of their choice. Personalized candy bouquets can be bought as well as individually.
The baguettes inside are a mixture of yellow and white gums with several pieces of Nerds Rope. The gums range from oval to round, varying width and length. The candy-shaped Rope pieces range from short, stubby ones to long, thin ones.
A star shape helps make Nerds Rope unique. In addition to being unique, Nerds Rope also stands out among other candies in that it is not only candy, but it is also a unique shape. This means that one bite could give you many different flavors. This is great news for those who enjoy trying various new flavors every day.
Each bag of Nerds Rope has about forty pieces each. If left unopened the bag will fill up in less than thirty seconds. This makes it a wonderful, quick pick me up that anyone can enjoy.
Nerds Rope retails for about ten dollars at most craft stores. There are several places online that sell Nerds Rope, as well as specialty stores. Many places offer free shipping if the order is over a certain amount of money or if they buy in bulk. If you are buying Nerds Rope for someone as a gift, make sure you know what kind they prefer.
I like Nerds Rope because it is not at all sticky. I find that some sticky Nerds candy can be very hard to take apart. Not so with Nerds Rope. I have even found some that are shaped like Happy Wheels, Cool Hand Luke, or Hot Wheels. All these shapes are relatively easy to take apart and put together again.
One of the nicest things about Nerds Rope, which helps make it different, is that it is sugar free. While candy coated hearts, dangles of string, and similar candies may taste great, they also are filled with sugars that can cause an allergic reaction. This is not a problem with Nerds Rope.
I think Nerds Rope might be a good idea for kids who are not into sugary sweets, but who enjoy having fun while keeping their hands busy. It is a fairly simple candy to make and offers a lot of different shapes to try out. Kids will probably have a favorite shape that they like to play with. In addition, Nerds Rope is sugar free, so it is a great option for people who do not want to deal with dealing with sugar during the summer.
