Nerds Rope - Is It Worth It?
Tiny, tangy, delicious little candy-shaped characters, nerds are cute and oddly shaped yet lovingly packed with flavor. From their mouths to their tails, from their feet to their backs, Nerds Rope makes delightful, colorful fun with a sense of whimsy. With colors you can't quite see but can only get a glimpse of, Nerds Rope brings together sweet, innocent gaudiness and pure fun.
Nerds Rope comes in a very limited number of colors. There are only six colors available in the USA currently, including orange, blue, red, yellow, pink, and green. Other countries are interested, however, and plans for international shipping have already been announced! We will soon be seeing many other colors, including, no doubt, Nerds Rope in colors that have nothing whatsoever to do with gummy sweets. I cannot wait to see them all flock to the candy super market.
The packaging of Nerds Rope looks just like any other brightly colored candy you've ever seen. It's packaged like any other Nerds product, which means it comes in attractive white outer wrapping, with clear sections for the different parts of Nerds Rope. On the inside, you'll find information about the candy and a fun character on the tag, such as the little man with a ball and chain. Inside the box, there is also a piece of paper with directions for assembly. That's it.
Now for the actually Nerds Rope itself. Upon opening the colorful outer wrapper, you find a bright red jelly doughnut that starts to gurgle as you pull it out of the box. On the bottom side of the doughnut, there is a sticky strip of glue that, when peeled, reveals to your children that it is, indeed, Nerds Rope! Now, Nerds Rope doesn't quite work the same way that Nerds Sticky Bunz does. For one thing, instead of being squishy enough to play good with, Nerds Rope stays flat against your gummy arm.
As far as size and price go, Nerds Rope is about the same price as the Sticky Bunz, so if you were thinking of stocking up on these types of toys for your kids, you'd like to know if they're worth the money. In general, they are, but keep in mind that quality counts here, too, so if you spend your cash on a quality Nerds Rope, they may last a long time before they eventually wear out. I wouldn't say that they're cheap, but they aren't really worth the money you pay for them. Like I mentioned, you would like to purchase Nerds Sticky Bunz instead if you'd like to save some dough.
Aesthetics don't really matter much for Nerds Rope, as long as you like what you're buying. If you were thinking "why is this sticky?" Well, it's because it's designed for your kids. That being said, it's not as tacky or embarrassing as some of the other products that are out there for young children. That being said, it's still a little odd having a toy like this in your house, so be prepared for a few comments from people who don't understand what you're doing. Either way, once your kid has had some experience with this product, they'll probably be asking you where you found such a great idea.
