Reese Peanut Butter Cups

Reese Peanut Butter Cups is an American candy made up of a rectangular chocolate cup containing smooth, creamy peanut butter, sold by The Hershey Company. They were first produced on November 15, 1928, by H. B. Reese, an old dairy owner and shipping clerk for Milton S. Hershey, who developed the line with his son, W. Clement Stone. Their original recipe contained no sugar. However, over time the company has added sugar to the recipe.

This popular American candy is one of the top selling confections. In addition to being a top seller in America, Reese Peanut Butter Cups is also popular throughout Europe, Australia and other international locations. They have even reached China and Hong Kong, but are no longer available in these markets.

The product has a distinctive yellowing to the cupcake to give it its name, and it has a very distinctive look that identifies it as a Reese Peanut Butter Cup. The product is manufactured in three sizes to accommodate the three different size ranges of cups that it is sold in. The original flavor is white, with chocolate or peanut butter drizzled to it, and comes in three different sizes, including a giant three cup serving. As well, it comes in two additional flavors: caramel and fudge.

The caramel version was originally available as a limited edition item and only sold in certain candy stores, including some that belonged to the Hershey Chocolate Company. It was discontinued in August of 1982 and became available again in May of 1983 as a refill treat for the caramel coffee drink. It did not remain as a regular ingredient in this drink, however, because consumers were not satisfied with the cream filling that was used to make the coffee drink. After that, it was discontinued again.

Peanut Butter Cups were also distributed by a company called M&M's, which is often credited as the inventors of the modern Reese Peanut Butter brand. While the manufacturer was M&M's, it was in fact Stilton Garden Company who created the original chocolate variation. They are believed to have created the first Reese Peanut Butter cup in 1932. This company is no longer active.

Two years later, they were back with a third variation of their Reese Peanut Butter Cups, and they were only available for a brief time in a number of locations, including the M&M's site. The refill versions are made from the same recipe as the original, but they come in a variety of fillings. The original is cream-filled, but these new versions come in a variety of chocolate, banana creme, and walnut. Both of the earlier two fillings are very popular today, especially with children. One reason for the popularity of the Reese Peanut Butter Cup is its price, which has stayed fairly constant over the years.

Since M&M's did not release a Reese Peanut Butter cup in the early days, this limited the amount of variation buyers were able to experience. However, since M&M's is no longer in business, other companies have taken over the Reese Peanut Butter product brand. There is even a line of products dedicated specifically to the Reese peanut butter creme filling. There is a white cream-filled version, and a red cream filled one. Some of the other versions available are made with different types of food colorings.

The classic chocolate variation is the most popular. In the last few years, consumers have consistently preferred the Reese's Big Cup flavor, although the red and white creme variations are competing for the attention. The original cup was made with milk and butterscotch candies, but the new versions use all-natural peanut butter cookie dough. This means that the contents don't change much from original to cup, unlike some other versions that change the flavors of the cookies. This consistent style of serving makes the Reese's Big Cup the most popular variation of the Reese's brand, as well as one of the biggest selling candy cupcakes on the market.
