It is the third variation of the Reese's peanut butter creme filling and was released in early 2021. In May of 2021, the product brand variation of the Reese's Peanut Butter Cupcakes was officially discontinued.

As it was previously discussed, in early 2021, the Reese's Peanut Butter Cupcakes was among the top selling holiday cup products. After it's release, it became one of the top selling all time Christmas cup items. As a result, when it was discontinued, there wasn't a need to make any changes. Although, there were rumors that the product was being discontinued due to low demand, we have yet to find this to be the case.
