The Difference Between Soda Flavours and Gummy Bear Candies
Soda is candy of the most popular type, but not the most common. In fact it is only second in popularity to potato chips. Candy in general is a very popular type of food item with many different flavours. Candy comes in all shapes and sizes and in many different flavors. Some of the more popular types of candy that most people have at home include chewing gum, chocolate, mints and other sticky confections, hard candy and gum balls. All of these different types of candies can be purchased at grocery stores, convenience stores, candy stores, liquor stores and gas stations.
Soda is sold in two different forms. The first is the bottled variety which contains carbon dioxide as a cooling agent. This can vary greatly from one brand to another and the nutritional content will depend upon the ingredients and the brand. The second type is what we normally think of as a candy bottle, these are the candy store bags or cans that generally have a very low nutritional content.
There are several benefits to drinking soda. It can improve your digestion, some sodas contain high amounts of Vitamin C and have been shown to reduce the incidence of cavities. But as far as its affect on our health, there are no studies that have proven that soda has any effect whatsoever on our health and the consumption of it does not play a role in raising our risk of heart disease or cancer.
One of the biggest misconceptions about cola is that it contains sugar. Although this may be true in some cases, it is false in every case. Sugar is an essential element for proper nutrition and the only type of sugar found in cola is glucose, which has a high biological value. Ingestion of glucose in any form reduces our blood sugar and the body will need to use its glucose supply for energy.
It is also important to know that sugar does not have any calories; in fact, it only has 4 calories per serving when consumed in the typical size of a candy bar. In addition, consuming a diet soda alone will not make us gain weight because in reality, we already have too much sugar in our diets to gain any more weight. The consumption of diet soda is a method of balancing our sugar intake without increasing our carbohydrate intake. Many people mistakenly think that the presence of the sugary drink triggers their desire for more sweets and this explains why so many dietitians advise their clients to limit the consumption of cola.
This brings up the question: do you know the difference between natural sugars and the highly processed forms? There are only two naturally occurring sugars found in nature, namely, galactose and lactose. Galactose is the most commonly used glucose source in the world, while the artificial forms, like saccharine are manufactured and require a higher sugar concentration to achieve the same effect as natural sugars. If you are looking for alternatives to soda, opt for gummy bear candies rather than sugary ones because they contain less sugar. Moreover, artificial sweeteners can be bad for your digestive system if taken in high quantities.
