Theater Box Candy For All Occasions

Did you know a candy store can open itself up to the public? This isn't just a joke. It is actually a reality in Florida, where there are five theaters dedicated to offering a wide array of candy and snacks. These theaters house more than two hundred employees who work directly with concession stands and produce. They also host a grand opening for each season, where they give out free stuff and promote new products. What a great way to show your love and appreciation to your employees!

Candy stores are located all throughout the state, but they are especially abundant in the Florida Keys. The grand opening of Cactus Candy opened last year at Keys Bank Park in Key West. Each candy shop has a different theme such as an American Indian-themed shop, a Space Shuttle themed candy store, or Cars themed candy store. Each one of these is filled with hundreds of hand made candy bars, taffy, chewing gum, and gum balls, as well as truffles and nuts. They carry all sorts of seasonal treats such as: cotton candy, gum balls, lemons, and hard candy.

Located in Ovie Beach at the edge of Keys Island are two candy shops that have been continuously open for over thirty years. Candy Mall opened in the late seventies and closed in the early eighties. This establishment was home to one of the original theaters in the area, which was called the Ovie Amusement Park Theater. Today the theater is still operational and is called the Sandestin Theater. Both businesses continue to sell excellent quality candy, gum balls, and nuts.

Two other shops are located right on the Gulf of Mexico at Destin, which are the Bradenton Candy Company and the Destin Theater Candy Company. Each one of these has several locations throughout the state. Bradenton carries a full line of premium candies, including handmade gums, taffy, and hard candy. Temptations are usually available in their candy shop, and they are ready to be shipped out anytime.

The Destin Theater Candy Company is located at the corner of Old Port Street and Main Street. Candy makes its way to this shop by way of three large boxes, which are then delivered directly to your home. It is a popular stop for children and adults alike, who enjoy browsing and picking their favorite flavors and colors. They offer four varieties of hard candy: the classic gumball, marshmallow, chocolate chip, and fudge. Specialty candy can also be purchased, such as the caramel apple, banana split, blueberry nut Bread and Butter, and much more.

While these shops are known for their high quality candy, they do also carry a few souvenirs and gifts that you may want to pick up. These include: mementos, blankets, pillows, purses, and more. Of course, you can expect to find both candy and souvenirs at many other businesses around the Gulf of Mexico.

If you have never had the pleasure of purchasing a box of theater candy at an area shopping center, then you are in for the most incredible treat! After making your way to the store, look around and see how beautiful the candy is. You will definitely want to try some out, and just the thought of it will get you going! You can find boxes of theater candy at many retail locations throughout Gulfport, including: Shops of Miami, Crest Park Village, Comfort Foods Inc., Super Cucare, Family Dollar, Loxahatchee Outlet Mall, Big Bear Mountain Inc., and many others.

As if looking for candy wasn't enough, you can also purchase a little something extra! Just ask when you come into the store what you'd like for a souvenir. Many of these businesses also allow you to take home a small portion of the candy you bought, which is great for decorating your own home with or sending as a gift to someone else. There are so many different possibilities, and you are sure to find the perfect piece for your sweetie.
