Toy Candy For Children's Needs
Clear toy candies is an old traditional confectionery which originated in England, Germany and Scotland. It's especially popular during Christmas and Easter. The hard candy generally is manufactured in many fanciful shaped molds, in several fanciful colors. Sometimes the candy is also tinted in different bright colors, usually green, red and yellow. All of these colors are known to represent different season and they all have a long history of use as gifts during special occasions such as birthdays and anniversaries.
When I was little my favorite was the "Fancy Fruit" candies from the Woolworth candy store on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan. The "Fancy Fruit" was not a gumball, but a hard candy with a long stem. My favorite colors were red, yellow and orange. They would go good with any of my homemade fruit juice and orange juice that I drank out of a tall glass every day.
Another wonderful store was on Avenue F in Prospect Park Brooklyn, New York. The candy store had a wide variety of candies to offer. I loved their "Fruit of the Month" products, "Dips for Dimes" and "Tobacco Addicts". The Ring Pop, Ring Squash, Razzle Dazzle and Taffy were my favorite. My favorite was their gumball "Sponge Bob Square Pants".
The candy aisle at the Woolworths Candy Store in New York City was a great place to shop for my children. There were a number of toys in the candy store that my children seemed to like more than the others. I noticed that they seemed to prefer the chocolate ones. My daughter still to this day prefers the chocolate ones over the others. The kids from the Woolworths Candy Store also seemed to enjoy them more than the others. The store was also packed with people.
In our community in Florida we shopped for our children many times each month. We would take them to the market and look at the different types of candy that they were interested in. We tried hard to find the best toy, the one that our children had asked for. We did not have a problem buying the candy there because there was a very large selection.
I think that it is important to be able to find a toy or candy that your children are begging for. If you can find that, then you will have won half the battle. I recommend looking online because there is more of a choice for toys and candy for children's needs. I know that the prices on the good stuff are higher there, but you will save money if you buy in bulk.
