Candy Bar Classics: These are a few of our favorite candies that have stayed around the longest. One of my favorites is the M&M's that has a classic shape. They are rectangular in shape with one of the small marshmallows on the top. This candy bar was introduced in 1957. They are still one of the best selling candy bars.

We offer mints such as the Hot Chocolate Mint, Hot Apple Pie Mint, Mints for Christmas, Mints for Easter, Lemon Drops, Caramel Apple, Caramel Almond, Blackiston, Classic Tar, Caramel Nuts, etc. Each type of mint is a classic that will introduce people to the joys of candy, just like we are. In fact, some people today even claim that mints introduce them to candy.

Retro Candy called Pixy Stix: These are another great assortment of sweets that were introduced in the 1950s. The name Pixy Stix was named after the cartoon character who made these candies famous. Candy sales really took off when this character was introduced. Retro candy called Pixy Stix was extremely popular during the war. Today they are extremely popular again. There are many places online to buy retro candy called Pixy Stix.

Retro Candies called Chocos: These are another great assortment of chocolates that were introduced in the 1950s. Chocos were considered to be one of the first candy bars. It was actually created to replace sugar and butter that was often used to make candies. Chocos were introduced in several different flavors.

Retro Candy named after World War II: While the United States was involved in World War II, other countries were not so lucky. As a result, candy makers knew that they had to create products that would be appealing to those people who were not yet affected by the war. Thus, retro candy was born. These products had a variety of different colors and flavors. Some of these bars even made a return to the chocolate industry years later as the chocolate industry began to grow again. Chocolate candy bars were created for a time to coincide with World War II.

Retro Chocolates: A few years later, the confectionary business began to focus on more traditional sweets such as candy bars. Taffy was no longer the preferred sweet. Candy makers soon discovered that people wanted something that was more attractive to them. Thus, candies began to be designed and packaged differently. Chocolates were no longer just for children; they were appealing to everyone.

Hot: In the late 1960s a candy bar called Hot N' Spice came onto the market. It was called "hot" because it had a spicy taste to it. This particular bar was made from caramel, nuts, raisins, and even caramel flavored popcorn. Later on, the popcorn flavor was added to the Hot N' Spice candy bar as well.

Classic: This particular candy bar was introduced about four years after Hot N' Spice was introduced. In fact, this particular candy bar became so popular that it was dubbed the "traditional candy bar" by one person. This classic candy bar came in a very rich, dark brown. It was designed with large, dark chocolate pieces, numerous nuts, and a butter cream color.

Mars introduced their own take on the caramel candy bar. Mars retro candy was first called "Mardi Gras Bar". It was designed with an image of a French street party in which all of the pieces were decorated in gold. Many people began calling it the "Mardi Gras" candy bar because the name was taken directly from what happened on the streets of France during the celebration of Mardi Gras.

Candy from Reese's Nutrageous was dubbed "Reese's Pieces". Reese's Pieces was the first Reeses candy to contain nuts, raisins, and cheese in the mix. The cheese was a different type than most, and was dark red in color. The candy also included bits of fruits such as dates, grapes, cherries, and more. Many times Reese's Pieces would be mixed with jelly beans to create something that looked just like jelly beans.
