Using Nerds to Enhance Visual Stimulation For Kids
The Nerds Rope is an interactive and inventive toy that promotes creativity among small children. Nerds are small, friendly creatures that have recently gained the attention of parents and educators alike. They are blue, brown and orange in color and are usually shaped like a football or a dinosaur. Made by Nerds Inc., the Nerds Rope is a combination of an activity board and a rope, allowing children to interact and have fun with this creative toy.
Parents and educators have found that Nerds Rope is a unique toy that teaches children essential skills and helps them develop in new ways. It encourages imagination and creativity as well as problem solving for young children. The colors used on the Rope are those that you find in sweets, including some that are shaped like candy canes. This unique combination allows children to use their imagination to unlock the fun of the candy, without ever leaving the table.
The Rope comes complete with a brightly colored five-foot-tall pumpkin with a hill on its back. The toy is decorated with red, blue, orange, green, and yellow ribbons flowing across the top. In the pumpkin, there are different colored eggs, which when knocked open will let you see different Nerds inside. These Nerds can be played with by twisting and turning the bottom part of the toy. A battery pack is also included, which allows the toy to start playing in the morning, after the children have had their dinner.
In addition to using their imagination to discover what each one of the Nerds looks like, children will enjoy the exciting process of mixing and matching colors. All colors used are safe for anyone to eat, making it an allergy free toy. Each round of the Rope has a goal for children to reach. Once they have reached the goal, they will have to blend colors to make the cone complete. Children will love the opportunity to make things up as they go along and will get a great sense of accomplishment for completing their first Rope toy.
If you decide to give this colorful toy to a toddler, be prepared for him or her to ask for the rest of the day just to play with it. They may even continue playing with it after dinner, as they roll the colorful balls down the candy highway. It is very easy to encourage a toddler's love of sweets, which is likely why you purchased this product in the first place.
The Nerds Rope makes a great educational gift, especially if you know that your child already loves the colors of the rainbow. Your child will be able to use his or her imagination to find ways to explain the colors to others. He or she will have fun for hours on end building things as he or she plays with the soft, colorful toys.
