Vicks Menthol Oil Candies Review

If you are familiar with American culture, then you have probably heard of vicks and cigarettes. This popular and well-known brand is a household name among many Americans and when you mention Vicks to anyone outside America, the first thought that comes to mind is candy. Everyone loves Vicks Candies and every year millions of boxes of these candies are produced for different occasions. You can get Vicks for every occasion including Mardi Gras, Halloween, Christmas, Easter, Mother's Day and even Chanukah, the Jewish holiday of Lights.

As you can see, Vicks has literally been around for a long time. And as we know, every American loves their cigarettes. But there is a very interesting story behind Vicks Menthol cigarettes. One of the top manufacturers of Vicks Candy has a long history producing different kinds of candies including but not limited to: bubble gum, chewing gum, lollipops, mints and much more.

Vicks was created by Charles J. Rebert Micks who were an inventor, chemical engineer, and businessman. He was born in Ireland and moved to Chicago in 1875, where he attended the University of Chicago. During his time in Chicago, he also attended work for another chemical company called American Tobacco Company which at the time was a huge company based in New York City. As is the case with most other things in this world, Vicks was created by accident. During one of his many experiments with various kinds of chemicals, he was experimenting with the manufacturing of Vicks Candy.

After discovering a chemical in the mixture that produced the odor of burning wood, he trademarked the name Vicks and used it on his candy. The name stuck and today there are literally hundreds of different flavors of Vicks. Many people prefer the traditional flavors that come in a white bottle, but you can pick up smaller bottles as well. It all depends on your preference. One thing that is certain is that if you're looking for a nice sweet treat, Vicks is one that is definitely worth trying.

As with any other kind of product, there are some complaints associated with Vicks Menthol Oil Candies. For example, those who are allergic to menthol may experience some skin irritation when they use this product. Also, the container it comes in can be a little bit tricky to remove. This is why it's good to read the directions on the back of the product closely before you decide to use it.

Overall, Vicks is one of those fine candies that just about everyone should try. While it isn't one of those super food type products, it does taste great and provides that nice cool feeling to your mouth. There's something about Vicks that just has a nice relaxing effect on people. It's a really cool product and one that any person would be happy to receive as a gift.
