Why Airheads May Is a Good Alternative to Sticks

Airheads is a candy from the Netherlands, that became hugely popular in the United States and other countries. The brand name was "Bitter Apple" (which later became "Bitter Apple Bites" and finally "Bitter Tarts Bites"). They're sweets that are split in half and resemble candybars. Each half is covered in a wafer of white chocolate or milk chocolate. In addition to these characteristics, Airheads have a cinnamon flavor that's similar to raisins, and they taste like sweet wafers. Airheads are made in two pieces, and they come in a variety of flavors: raspberry and caramel.

These wafers are then coated in either salt or artificial sweetener. Some varieties of airheads are coated with butterscotch. Airheads candy can be eaten just like regular candy, or they can be stored in airtight bags or tubes - this keeps them fresh and they last longer.

Because airheads are so popular, there are an abundance of them available today. One downside is, of course, that you have to keep them fresh! That's why these wafers are often placed in a refrigerator. But if you're like me and only bite off the top of a candy bar... then maybe you don't need to go through the trouble of keeping your airheads as fresh as possible! If you're the type of person who likes to snack on them regularly and don't mind getting a little messy... then they make the perfect snack for any occasion!

In addition to fresh airheads, there are other varieties of airheads to choose from as well. There are gum, mints, stick candy, and even suck on airheads. I've never been a huge fan of gum, but I admit that some of them are great! Mints, on the other hand, I don't really see myself consuming much of. Stick candy seems like it would be a lot more fun, but airheads may be a better choice for a kid's room! I've heard that some kids are too afraid to eat them due to the taste, so if you have an airhead in your house, beware of what your kids may think.

If you're going to use airheads or gum, be sure to either wash them thoroughly after you use them, or cover them and store them away as clean as you can. I'm not sure why airheads with sticks are sold individually... why not put them all together in one box? Whatever you do, don't leave your airheads sitting out at any time, because you could start attracting ants! As for gum, if you use regular gum, just remember that you're supposed to chew on the gum, and not the stick, and don't ever let others hold them while you chew!

Airheads are definitely worth a try if you're looking to spice up a boring snack. The only problem is that you can't take your airheads and pop them in your mouth without the stick getting stuck in your teeth. That said, they do make great candies for parties and special occasions, so even if your kids never choose to bite into one, you might want to still give them a go!
