DescriptionThe Reese Peanut Butter Cups is a delicious American candy made from a rich chocolate mix, mostly made from peanuts and/or cashews, that are sold by The Hershey Company. The first flavors introduced are: Nut Bread, French Vanilla, Hazelnut, Chocolate Fudge, Caramel Apple, Cinnamon Roll and Caramel Chocolate. Each features a different variety of chocolate or nut mixture to which the filling is added. The traditional cup has a smooth chocolate exterior, but today, many of them are frosted, some with raisins and dahlias. Some come with an option for drizzling chocolate or caramel on top. All feature a detailed white chocolate shell.
In early November, the Reeses Classic Chocolate was released. This version of Reese Peanut Butter Nut is available in a small tin. It has the classic peanut butter look with the familiar chocolate curls and has a very mild nutty flavor. It is also available in a larger tin, which has a rich dark brown color, and is considered to be twice the weight of the original.
In September of last year, the original chocolate variation of Reese Peanut Butter Nut was made available in three new packaging options. The first is a big cup. This version is the same as the small boxes with chocolate curls, but it has a bigger appearance. This option is best for people who like to have the chocolate filling for breakfast, instead of waiting until it's offered in a bigger can.
The third variation is a double-wrapped product. In this case, the Reese Peanut Butter Nut cup is enclosed in a festive brown wrapping. This is a great option for the person waiting to celebrate Valentine's Day or Christmas. It is important to note that there may be some extra chocolate chips included in the wrap - this would be okay as a gift, but not for a meal - the product is meant to be a snack.
